We are a small nonprofit 501c3 in need of assistance in completing the set up of our chart of accounts so that how we are set up allows better 990 completion relative to programs, fundraising and administrative expenses. Our bookkeeping stems from the chart of accounts. A better organization to easily compile attachments needed for grants would streamline grant writing such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. We include inkind donations but want to do it correctly and have not found firms versed in nonprofit financial management. We use quickbooks online.
