Are you a family member of a loved one living with a mental health condition?
Join NAMI Citrus for a network of support, to find strength in helping others and to fight the stigma surrounding mental health.
We are looking for persons 18 or older to become trained to facilitate our weekly 90 minute Family Support Group on Thursday evenings. NAMI provides training and you will always have a second facilitator with you. By training at least 2 more facilitators we will be able to stagger your schedule.

Mission Statement
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Citrus is one of 650 affiliates around the United States. Our mission is to Educate, Advocate, Listen and Learn.
Description
We provide nationally developed, evidence based training to educate on mental health illnesses, support groups for both those living with mental health conditions as well as for their friends and family. We advocate at the local and state level for parity in mental health issues such as financing and insurance.
We collaborate and partner with other organizations such as the Department of Health and the School District to raise awareness and provide suport and education that was not previously available to those in need.
We serve residents across Citrus County with free mental health support, onliune groups, resources and education.
