Hearts & Minds Activity Center is an adult day care facility for individuals with dementia, located in San Jose, CA. We are looking a magician to come in and perform some fun tricks for our seniors. Must have an engaging personality. We welcome those magicians who are still learning and looking for some practice!

Hearts & Minds Activity Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions by providing safe, nurturing activities, intergenerational services, and a rich network of support.
Description
Founded in 1984, Hearts & Minds Activity Center emerged as the first large capacity dementia-specific adult day program in the country. Since its inception, Hearts & Minds has provided services to over 6,000 individuals living with dementia and their families. Our adult day program offers the following:
Over 60 weekly hours of caregiver relief
Daily intergenerational activities
Variety of activities tailored to individual’s impairment level
Active peer and multigenerational socialization
Secure outdoor space designed for individuals with dementia
Shower, podiatry, and haircut services
Ongoing community education and support
Respite services offered six days per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
