Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center is looking for long-term committed volunteers to help with barn chores, caring for horses and assisting with lessons. Horse is experience is preferred, but not required. There are morning and evening shifts that involve barn chores, horse care and assisting in lessons. We look forward to hearing from you! Thank you!

Ivy Hill Therapeutic Equestrian Center creates therapeutic programs for individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional, behavioral and psychological needs utilizing the equine experience. At Ivy Hill, Horses + Love = Hope.
Description
What do we offer?
We offer customized horsemanship and therapeutic horseback riding instruction, as well as Hippotherapy (physical therapy utilizing the movement of the horse) to individuals of all ages with cognitive, emotional or physical challenges.
Why are therapeutic riding and hippotherapy benificial?
The interaction between humans and horses has recognizable therapeutic benefits. Many of our riders are referred to Ivy Hill from educators and medical professionals with the goal of achieving specific physical, emotional and cognitive accomplishments. Our specialized programs are designed for the needs of each rider and can facilitate a variety of positive achievements in areas such as physical, cognitive, and emotional.
