Service Activities:
Help build a special new trail at Silver Falls State Park! This President’s Day, volunteer alongside park rangers and help build the new North Rim trail, which will have with a stunning viewpoint of 136-foot North Falls. The primary task of volunteers will be to spread rock on the new trail surfaces.
Service and Site Description:
The work party will take place on the North Rim Trail. Volunteers may have to walk up to 1/2 mile to the work location. Service will be on a gravel and natural surfaces which are uneven. Tools and equipment will be provided. Volunteers must be able to use simple hand tools, and have the ability to travel on uneven trail surfaces. Volunteers should bring their own lunch.
Age Restrictions: Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age to participate.
Registration for this event will close on 2/14/22. Participation is limited to 20 total volunteers. Volunteers must register in advance for this event on Oregon State Park’s Website.
