The bond between people and their dogs are one of the strongest out there. If you're a dog lover, enjoy event planning, want to get more involved in your local community, (dogs and humans alike,) or like to fundraise, then this is the opportunity for you!
Furry friends and their families are invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, contests, dog demonstrations, and more! This event wouldn't be possible without the wonderful volunteers that make up the event committee to plan it, and that's where you come in! We have lots of different opportunities to get involved, so there's something for everyone!
All funds raised through DogFest Long Island-NYC 2022 directly support Canine Companions to provide expertly trained service dogs to adults, children, and veterans with disabilities to increase independence FREE of charge!

Event Information: September 24, 2022 at Marjorie Post Park
