Soldiers’ Angels, a national non-profit that is committed to supporting our military communities, is looking for a Volunteer Deputy Representative in the Charleston VA. The VA Deputy Representative is responsible for working with the VA Representative to coordinate the efforts of Soldiers’ Angels to support local veterans through the VA Medical Center. The Deputy Rep would assist the Charleston VA Representative in the recruitment, retention and recognition of volunteers. We are asking our volunteer to be able to commit to volunteer 5-10 hours per week with Soldiers’ Angels.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for someone that is looking to help plan special events and coordinate the distribution of goods and services to our veterans. We are looking for a volunteer with the ability to recruit volunteers of all ages, both from Soldiers’ Angels volunteers and the community at large. Finally, a strong knowledge of computer skills is critical to be successful in this role.
