If you sew as a hobby and are looking for a way to volunteer and give back to your community, how about giving of your time and gift by sewing a Memory Bear. These bears are crafted from an article of clothing of a patient that was on hospice service with Bridge Hospice. Memory Bears bring so much comfort to family that is able to receive it. We are also looking for volunteers who knit or/and quilt to create sensory blankets for our dementia patients, beanies, mittens, and scarfs. If this sounds like a volunteer opportunity you would be interested in contact me for more information.
