Are you outgoing, creative, and love to think outside of the box? Do you know all the local movers and shakers in your area? Do you want to get more involved your community and join the fight against Alzheimer’s disease? If you answered yes to any of these, we'd love to meet you!

The South Dakota Alzheimer's Association is building a volunteer community for The Longest Day. On this committee, you will play a vital role in growing one of our signature fundraisers by recruiting and coaching participants as well as promoting The Longest Day. The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On and leading up to this day, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association. Volunteers incorporate hobbies they are already active in like running, hiking, fishing, crafting, etc, or they gather together with their company and co-workers to plan events or activities. The day with the most light, is the day we fight!
