Do you have a passion for crafting? Would you like to be part of servicing our Hospice community with your gift of sewing? Looking for crafting volunteers that sew, knit and quilt. As a crafting volunteer you will have an opportunity to sew Memory Bears for the families of the patients that have been on our hospice service. These bears are made for an article of clothing of the patient and they bring such a comfort to the families that are able to receive them. There is also opportunity to sew or quilt sensory blankets for our dementia patients, make scarfs, mitts, beanies and totes that would go on the back of wheelchairs. If you are interested please reach out for more information.
