Opus Peace is a non-profit that was started in 2013, and founded by 5 VA hospice nurses. They are on a mission to spread awareness about Soul Injury. This is an injury to your BEing, and causes you to separate from your sense of self, your personhood. We have a working board and we are looking to fill some open positions. We have a secretary position and several members at large positions. This board meets virtually every other month for 2 hours and intermittently to do committee work. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in being a part of the Opus Peace grassroots movement.

Mission Statement

To provide a meaningful experience through Soul Injury educational programs that transform lives around the world.

Description

Opus Peace was started in 2013 by 5 VA Hospice nurses who cared for more than 10,000 dying Veterans. The lessons they learned from these Veterans as they were on their deathbeds is yielding lesson for the rest of the world. These lessons about unmourned loss and hurt, unforgiven guilt and shame, and fear of helplessness and loss of control and the journey toward attaining personal peace is the foundation for our organization. We have coined the term Soul Injury and want to share it with the world so those who have become separated from their sense of self, their person hood can begin their journey toward wholeness.
