Hospice volunteers offer companionship, emotional support and practical assistance wherever the patient resides, enhancing the comfort and quality of life for the patient. Volunteers can read to patients, play cards, do puzzles, watch movies, help to write letters, light housekeeping, pet care, yard/garden care, support patient interests such as music or crafting, or offer a calm and peaceful presence by just being there to listen or hold a hand.

Seva Hospice provides mileage reimbursement for volunteers driving to and from patient's homes/residence.
Seva Hospice serves Tulare County and Kings County, including Visalia, Tulare. Porterville, Hanford, Dinuba, Farmersville, Springville and Exeter.

Volunteers do not do any type of "hands on" care for patients. Volunteers do not need to have any clinical experience. They just need to have a heart to help others. Make a difference in someone else's life; make difference in your life.
