Make a real difference in someone’s life!
Elara Caring, one of the nation’s largest providers of home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.
As hospice patients approach end-of-life, extra support is needed for both the patient and family. We are looking for special volunteers to visit patients at the bedside, to offer vigil and support. You could hold a hand, sing softly, read scripture or poetry, and provide support for the family at the bedside.
Hours are very flexible - weekdays, evenings or weekend or on an on-call basis.
