ORGANIZATION: Providence ElderPlace

  • 9 people are interested

Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.

Volunteer Friend: We are in need of someone who wants to be a friend to an isolated senior. The volunteer will visit a senior in the community at their home. Here's your chance to build a relationship and make a difference in someone's life. Bring joy by sharing conversations, stories, pictures, songs-anything you two choose to share.

The right fit for this volunteer opportunity is someone who is comfortable visiting once or twice a week with their friend. It's important for all of us to have someone to talk to, especially during this very isolating and difficult time.

We have an urgent request for a volunteer visitor from a wonderful woman whose loves to walk outdoors.
