We have the need for volunteers to support a Classroom Library Enhancement project that may need 5-10 volunteers at Global Family School. Depending on the classroom the tasks could include; Scanning new and existing books in our Classroom Library Manager App, Helping teachers stamp and organize new books, Labeling books with proper reading levels.
Availability (1 hour per week during one of the times listed below):
Mondays: 9 - 11am or 1 - 3pm
Tuesdays: 9 - 11am or 1 - 3pm
Wednesdays: 9 - 11am or 1 - 3pm
Thursdays: 9 - 11am or 1 - 3pm
Fridays: 9 - 11am or 1 - 3pm

Requirements for the 2021-22 school year include:
1. TB clearance within the last four years
2. Submit Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination(no booster required)
3. Live Scan
4. Signing a Liability Waiver and In-Person COVID-19 waiver electronically.
5. Headshot photo for a badge.

The Oakland Public Education Fund leads the development and investment of community resources in Oakland public schools so that all students can learn, grow, and thrive.
Description
The Ed Fund is the only organization raising money for all Oakland public schools. Since 2003, we have raised more than $50 million for programs that help students thrive. We put the right tools in students’ hands to give all kids the excellent education they deserve.
We support all Oakland public schools-both District-run and charter-with a focus on those furthest from opportunity, because kids who come to school with less need more.
The Ed Fund builds partnerships that make our schools stronger. Whether it’s finding a funder for a big District project or a bringing a group of volunteers to a school to read with kids, we are committed to connecting the wider community to our public schools. Put simply, we feel our public schools are better when we all work together.
