About Team Jennifer Cahill Charities

Location:

14B South Seventh Street, AKRON, PA 17501, US

Mission Statement

The mission is to prepay and prepay final expenses for female Veterans with terminal cancer.

Description

Jennifer Cahill is a USAF veteran, a wife, a daughter, a sister and a stepmother to 2 amazing teenagers. Jen was diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer, which is metastatic. The cancer was deemed treatable, not curable. Jen loves to read, go on motorcycle rides with her husband, and enjoys soaking in the sun at the beach.

After the realization that she did not have life or burial insurance, friends and family rallied to raise the funds to aid Jen and her family to prepay her final expenses and arrangements. She was also approached by other female veterans in the same position, terminal and not having the means to take care of their final expenses and arrangements. Jen saw a need to take care of our female warriors by making sure that these forgotten heroes are able to have their final expenses met and founded Team Jennifer Cahill Charities. The mission of TJCC is to prepay final expenses for female veterans with terminal cancer who don’t have life or burial insurance, have minimal burial coverage, or offset the expense should the choose a National or Authorized Cemetery for their final resting place. It is our vision to be there for all Female Veterans when the need us.
