With one hour a week, you can change a life.
Be a companion and friend for a patient on hospice! Bristol Hospice provides end of life care, and volunteers are an essential part of our team. What do volunteers do? Options are plenty! Besides visiting patients as companions, we need volunteers to help out in the office. Bring your dog that's certified for pet therapy for pet visits. Sing/play your instrument for patients. We also need volunteers who are veterans, as many of our patients are veterans. We will provide training and support. The delivery of hospice services is integral to complete the continuum of care. Bristol Hospice is the bridge to delivery of end-of-life needs that are focused on pain and symptom management. Bristol hospice provides care for patients in skilled facilities, private homes, and group homes.
Bristol Hospice is proud to partner with the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization and the Dept of Veterans Affairs 'We Honor Veterans' program. Bristol Hospice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care that addresses the unique needs of Veterans and their families.
