The LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. is seeking volunteers to staff our front desks at both the community center and our health and human services locations. Volunteers will be tasked with light receptionist tasks like navigating phone calls, client check in, and handling sales from our Pride Shop. The LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. is always looking for the best way to serve the community and that vision is brought to life through our volunteers! Please note that this opportunity is on a volunteer basis only. The LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. is not currently able to accommodate any court ordered community service.

Description
The LGBT+ Center Orlando has been a volunteer based organization since our founding in 1978. Over the years we have strived to adapt to be an inclusive and safe space for the LGBT+ community and its allies. The Center is one of the largest HIV testing sites in Central Florida and offers additional services such as the Pride Pantry, condoms, narcan, mental health counseling, support and recovery groups, victim advocacy case management, and housing stability case management all at low or no cost.

- Orientation or Training
- Volunteer shifts are broken into 4 hour shifts and we ask that you are able to commit to at least one shift per week. After the 90 day mark, interested individuals may be trained as an HIV tester.
