We're a nonprofit cat rescue based in the Boston area. We just opened our own cat shelter! Please join us at this exciting time in our mission to save the lives of stray and abandoned cats!

This role is responsible for managing the logistics of medical care for all our cats in collaboration with the Shelter Director, Foster Director, and Shelter Vet.

Duties include:

  • Maintain working knowledge of health of all cats.
  • Use software to track vet care, vaccination due dates, vet notes, vital statistics, etc.
  • Maintain accurate vet records for each cat
  • Make vet appointments
  • Communicate with vet
  • Collaborate with vet to make medical decisions
  • Collaborate with foster and adoption directors to ensure cat receives care and finds a home that can meet its needs
  • Be available to train fosters in administering routine medical care and to answer their questions in a timely fashion
  • Collaborate with the Director of Foster and fosters to schedule transport to and from vet.
  • Review vet bills monthly to ensure accuracy and pay them using the TCC credit card. Provide any documentation the Treasurer needs regarding vet bills.
  • Help foster with putting cats in a carrier and vet transportation, when needed

Mission Statement

To control the local feral (undomesticated) cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return-Maintain (TNRM) programs and to facilitate the adoption of stray and abandoned cats and kittens into responsible permanent homes through our foster care and adoption programs.


We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we rescue stray and abandoned cats in the greater Waltham, MA area and try to find them loving homes.
