The Hospital Elder Life Program (HELP) is looking for reliable and caring volunteers!
HELP is an international patient care program that focuses on preventing physical and cognitive decline in hospitalized individuals aged 70 and older. The program’s low tech, high touch evidence-based interventions are delivered by well-trained volunteers. Please note we have a minimum time commitment of one four-hour shift per week for one year, or 150 hours of volunteer service with the program is required.

Description
The American Geriatrics CoCare: HELP (Hospital Elder Life Program) is a structured international program of care for hospitalized older patients designed to PREVENT delirium and functional decline throughout hospitalization. HELP goals are to maintain physical and cognitive functioning by utilizing daily interventions administered by volunteers.
