JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Update and weekly maintenance of The Africa in Me website.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes for required pages or sections.
• Build various visual design options
• Create design documentation like Brand guidelines, design analysis, stakeholder and user feedback, etc.
• Hands-on experience building websites in Wix.
• Assist with other online projects as needed, video editing, user research, UX writing etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
• Ability to look for problem areas in the design space, and propose and execute solutions.
• Ability to finish assigned tasks independently and in a timely manner.

• Ability to work well, both independently and in a team environment.
• Some Web design experience.
• Graphic design experience is a plus.
• Design experience is good to have, but students and fresh grads are welcome.
