Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Lyngblomsten Care Center

  • 3 people are interested

Music for Life is an interactive music education program presented by MacPhail teaching artists to residents of our Care Center. Weekly sessions will involve a variety of activities including singing, playing instruments, and learning music history.

Volunteers will create a supportive environment for personal expression and social engagement by:

  • Helping to gather and transport residents via wheelchair
  • Taking attendance and welcoming participants
  • Assisting teaching artists and participants where needed during each session

If you have an interest in music and enjoy meeting new people, reach out today. You will make new friends and contribute to the well-being of others.

Schedule:
Tuesdays 9:30-11am and 10:45-12:15pm
Wednesdays 10:30am-12 pm

Questions? Please contact Melanie at mjagolino@lyngblomsten.org. A volunteer coordinator will help you review orientation materials and complete a background screen. At this time, we ask that volunteers be vaccinated for COVID and to wear a mask while inside our facility.
