Genesis Youth Foundation is looking to add volunteers to the Ubuntu Technology Program. In Ubuntu Tech., our students are engaged in STEM topics through specific programs including Project Lead the Way: Medical Detectives, FIRST LEGO League: Explore & Challenges teams, photography, and photo & video editing. We also host classes for adults in basic computer skills and introduction to software.

We are looking for volunteers willing to serve in a variety of capacities, from heading different programs to providing occasional support. Our programs typically operate on a weekly basis from 1 - 3 hours, depending on the program. Our standard hours are Monday - Friday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, however FLL programs can operate on the weekends as well.

We promote a healthy lifestyle and positive decision-making through education, physical and mental health. We provide youth participants with one-on-one and small group mentoring with caring, safe, and positive adult mentors. We engage youth in programming that fosters growth in leadership and relationship-building skills. We encourage and support academic success through tutoring, self-discovery, goal setting and college/career exploration while ensuring all participants and families find a home within our organization.
