We are looking for a Marketing & Outreach Chair for The Longest Day (TLD), our annual "do-it-yourself" fundraising program! Help us fight the darkness of Alzheimer's and all other dementia by doing some you love and tacking on a fundraising component to it!
The Marketing and Outreach Chair is responsible for working with appropriate chapter marketing
communications staff to create awareness of The Longest Day and to promote the event. They should
be comfortable with public speaking and members to help execute the event promotional plan. This
individual will recruit a subcommittee to help engage the community through collateral distribution
across the chapter’s geographical area and other awareness methods.
The Marketing and Outreach Chair and Marketing and Outreach Subcommittee should have a strong
knowledge of local media outlets, excellent oral and written communication and a creative approach to
marketing.
