The Metanoia Project provides seasonal shelter in the winter months to our unsheltered neighbors, these are folks who would otherwise be sleeping outside in the winter and risk freezing to death than utilize the larger more traditional and structured shelter systems. We open our doors November 15th - April 15th providing a safe and welcoming space for our guests to sleep at night. One of our most popular volunteer opportunities with our organization is our Meal Program. Every night hot homemade meals are delivered by individuals cooking in their kitchen, restaurants donating meals, or groups cooking together and delivering as a group. This season we are operating two sites out of one location and we have the capacity for 35 guests every night.

Description
The Metanoia Project provides seasonal overnight hospitality to Cleveland's shelter-resistant and un-sheltered homeless population. During the months of November-April Metanoia staff opens our hospitality center each night to our overnight guests. There the staff forms relationships with the guests while providing support, access to outside services, meals, hygiene products, clothing, and a safe place to sleep each night.
