Who We Are

The CARDBoard Project is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose main objective is to bridge the digital gap within the underserved communities of South Dallas. For many, access to technology is greatly limited. This limitation actively hinders education, healthcare, and overall economic growth within underserved communities affected by digital division. CARDBoard Project aims to address this pertinent issue on many levels. Between providing access to essential technology, active community projects aimed to eradicate "digital deserts", working with individuals 1:1 to connect our guests to empowering opportunities and resources, we consistently progress our cause.

Who We’re Seeking

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and innovative Digital Communications Team Lead. As a Digital Communications Lead you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy in order to increase our online presence and share our program progress/milestones to further expand our impact in the communities we serve. Regarding an expected time commitment, we aim to work with your current schedule but do require you be able to meet with the our Executive Director twice a week at minimum during the initial weeks of volunteering to ensure proper set-up and training is provided to fulfill the required tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan & implement social media content calendar/strategy.
  • Create & upload content across our social media platforms.
    • Utilize E-Clincher
  • Social media campaign setup & budget management
  • Define target audience trends for optimal engagement.
  • Oversee Digital Communications Team/Project Management

Requirements:

  • Experience creating & producing digital social media content
  • Strong understanding of engaging digital media content & storytelling skills
  • Expert level knowledge all primary social media platforms, capabilities & features
  • Exceptional design aesthetic, written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience in social media analytics/tools, campaigns, & SEO. is preferred.
  • Goal driven, ability to self-motivate, & work independently.
  • Experience with photo editing/graphic design software (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software)

Technology is an essential to all means of living, for many this essential is grossly limited. These limitations actively hinder education, healthcare, and overall economic growth. Here we address this pertinent issue on many levels.

Between providing physical access to essential technology, active projects working to eradicate "desert" Wi-Fi zones, working with individuals one on one to connect guests to empowering opportunities and resources, we consistently progress our cause.
