ORGANIZATION: Easterseals Massachusetts (ESMA)

As a regional board member of Easterseals MA, you are joining a great group of dedicated individuals that perform a variety of duties to assist in raising awareness, advocacy, fundraising and support for clients of Easterseals MA. There are some in-person opportunities and virtual opportunities to use your personal skill set to help the Easterseals MA mission: To ensure that adults and children with disabilities and our Veteran community have equal opportunities to Live, Learn, Work and Play.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Understand the organization’s mission, services, policies, and programs, and inform others about ESMA.
  • Help to enhance ESMA public profile and network within the Bridgewater communities and the business areas.
  • Attend and participate at regional board meetings via Microsoft Teams on the second Monday of the month, from 6:30PM-7:30PM.
  • Support the organization financially either through donations and/or through helping with fundraising activities.
  • Serve on at least one sub-committee and attend meetings.
  • Aide in making connections between the organization and your personal network to promote and grow ESMA services in Bridgewater Massachusetts.
    • Actively recruit new board members.
