IN THESE DAYS OF ONE BAD NEWS STORIES AFTER ANOTHER, WE ALL NEED A BREAK.GET UP IN THE MORNING AND START OUT THE DAY WITH ANOTHER SCANDAL OR DISASTER. TURN ON NIGHTLY NEWS AND THERE IS MORE OF THE SAME. THE WAY WE ARE GOING, EVEN THE THERAPISTS WILL NEED THERAPISTS. WE ARE DUE FOR A SEQUEL OF STOP THE WORLD. I WANT TO GET OFF.'

THE COALITION OF VETERANS ORGANIZATIONS WOULD LIKE TO RUN A MONTHLY FEATURE ON ITS WEBSITE THAT WOULD HIGHLIGHT POSITIVE AND CONSTRUCTIVE STORES OF VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES - THEIR SUCCESS STORIES -- AND ALSO ARTICLES DESCRIBING WHAT INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY ARE DOING TO SUPPORT AND HONOR THEIR MILITARY AND VETERANS FAMILIES.

CVO is headquartered in the City of Chicago and is composed of veterans organizations and allied groups supporting the well being of military families and veterans for the purpose of engaging in activities designed to maintain and improve the quality of life for these American heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much so we may all live in peace, prosperity, and good fellowship.
