The Bereavement Support Volunteer would help provide administrative support to the Bereavement Team. Our Bereavement program offers ongoing support to families and caregivers after a loved one has passed away on our service. We follow the bereaved for 13 months. During this time the bereaved receives numerous calls and mailings. Training is provided.
*In accordance with the Federal mandate, all volunteers must be able to show proof of COVID vaccination or have an approved medical or religious exempt.

Brighton Hospice originated in 2012 in Utah and has spread to several other states including Minnesota, Oregon, Nevada and as of 2019 has come to Wisconsin and Indiana. The goal of hospice care is to improve the quality of a patient’s last months by offering comfort, dignity and care in a familiar setting, whether that be in the patient’s own home, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing Facility. Brighton Hospice recognizes that the dying process is a part of the normal process of living and focuses on enhancing the quality of remaining life. Our team is made up of our Administrator, Director of Clinical Services, Medical Director, Nurse Case Managers, Hospice Aides, Social Worker, Chaplain and an excellent support team.
