Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston (JBBBS) is seeking an active Friend for Henry! Henry is 48 years old and lives in a group home due to cognitive impairment resulting from a traumatic brain injury. Henry is energetic, friendly, and eager to engage in social activities. He wants to get out by going to restaurants and movies. He especially enjoys sports, bowling, hanging out, going on nature walks or hikes, and bird watching.
The ideal volunteer would be a man in his late 40s/early 50s who is easygoing and has a sense of humor. Henry enjoys engaging in what he calls "the real world" because he currently spends much of his time in "institutional settings" with other people who have disabilities. Just a couple of hours1x/mo for a year commitment!

Friends agree to meet one to two times per month and make at least a yearlong commitment. Match support is provided by Clinical Match Specialists.
