Why become a speaker recruiter for TEDxSeattle:
This is an opportunity to engage with people who you think are interesting or impressive or who have an important message. Is there someone whosework you think our audience would find interesting? Is there someone whose work you admire and would like to know more? Have you read about someone who you think has a perspective that you have not heard before? As a Speaker Recruiter, you would have the opportunity to approach and connect with fascinating people and engage in conversations about possible ideas they could present in a TEDxSeattle talk.

Characteristics:
Insatiable curiosity, a willingness to make contact with people that you’ve probably
never met to engage in a conversation about their possible interest in being considered to speak at
TEDxSeattle. Our speaker recruiters have excellent communication skills, are good at evaluating
people and ideas, and are well networked, especially in the PNW. Having a strong expertise in a
specific area of interest would also be very helpful.

Time commitment: 3-6 hours a week
Training will be provided.
