Our office volunteers work closely with our friendly office staff to better assist our clinical staff in bringing the gift of hospice to our patients. You will also learn the process of hospice from admission to death and all it entails. Opportunities are available during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM). Our volunteer coordinator will give any letters of recommendation or reference letters that may help with further employment or education. Our office is a very relaxed and welcoming environment where any volunteer would feel comfortable.
Clerical experience is helpful, but not required. Training and orientation is provided.

Description
Our Hospice services include pain and symptom management, access to nursing and team support 24/7, medications, supplies and equipment related to patient symptoms, bereavement counseling, patient and family education, end of life planning and emotional and spiritual support. Our specially trained hospice team includes an Attending Physician, Nurse Case Manager, Medical Director, Hospice Aide, Bereavement Coordinator, Spiritual Care Coordinator, Social Workers and Volunteers.
