We are looking for an experienced freight/shipping logistics volunteer. The ideal volunteer will advice us on various ways to ship merchandise from Kenya to Austin. This person will prepare us for growth and what to expect in timing, budget, cost analysis, insurance etc. Our volunteer will know about various ways of shipping e.g. Ocean vs Air. They will help us navigate customs, duty etc.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower artisan women in Kenya make a sustainable living using skills handed down through generations in weaving, beading, basketry and art. They use locally sourced, organic, natural materials to create fashion accessories and art. Proceeds empower women and provide girls with menstrual kits to help them stay in school.

The idea was born in 2014. Helping women has been a huge part of Anne's and Catherine's lives. Sawa Sawa was registered as a nonprofit in 2019.
Our programs involve empowering women. Each village has unique needs and providing school age girls with menstrual kits to help them stay in school.
