ORGANIZATION: The IWI: International Women's Initiative

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the director and supporting the partnerships team with its research needs
  • Assisting with the production of partnerships materials and literature
  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of communications
  • Providing support for events and exhibitions as required
  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature
  • Writing promotional material for IWI
  • Updating and maintaining the team's documentation and databases
  • Prepares mailers and brochures by formatting content and graphics
  • Assist with the writing of press releases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 4+ years research experience
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Leadership skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of nonprofits or social movements

Description

International Women’s Initiative (IWI) is an organization which raises awareness of the threats to the human rights of women across the globe and to promote and assist in the achievement of gender equality. The mission of IWI is to help women and girls realize their basic human rights, while working to ensure that all females are free and safe to pursue their full potential. As an organization which is run 100% by volunteers, we are looking for staff who can help IWI grow while ensuring we remain true to our mission and goals.
