The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers to help with facilities projects.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Assist with building maintenance tasks such as: painting, cleaning, moving furniture, setting up equipment, putting up lights, mounting TVs, and assisting with repairs.
- Monitor building safety i.e. checking electrical appliances to ensure hazards are not created.
- Complete monthly preventative maintenance checklists. Will require using a ladder, carrying heavy objects (up to 45 pounds), and driving supplies/picking up supplies at local stores.
Time commitment: Project-based and to be scheduled as needed, up to 2-4 hours per wee.; must have availability during business hours (Mon-Fri between 7am-2pm).
