ORGANIZATION: HELPING THE BEHAVIORALLY CHALLENGING CHILD

  • 12 people are interested

We are in need of a detail-oriented individual to enter survey data into Excel. Your work will be very meaningful. Entering the data accurately will enable us to quantify and analyze information about the families we serve and aim to serve. Our findings will direct our outreach strategies, enable us to evaluate which services most effectively help our clients, and help us secure grant funds to further our mission.

This is an ON-SITE opportunity. We can be flexible in terms of days/times/hours, but ideally we would like to find individuals that can come in for 8+ hours a week so that the project can be completed timely. The 8 hours does not have to be completed in a single shift. If you can devote 8 hours or more between now and the end of February, please reach out. We'd love your help!

About HELPING THE BEHAVIORALLY CHALLENGING CHILD

Location:

145 W MAIN ST STE 260, TUSTIN, CA 92780, US

Mission Statement

Helping the Behaviorally Challenging Child in Tustin (HBCC) is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation that is composed of individuals who are committed to helping behaviorally challenging children lead more productive and inclusive lives.

Description

HBCC teaches a revolutionary, evidence-based approach for helping children with behavioral challenges. Through training, support and referrals to clinical services, we promote the understanding that challenging kids lack the skill, not the will, to behave well - specifically, skills related to problem solving, flexibility and frustration tolerance. Unlike traditional models of discipline, HBCC teaches an approach that avoids the use of power, control and motivational procedures and instead focuses on teaching at-risk, behaviorally challenging kids the skills they need to succeed.
