Help release children from poverty in Jesus' name!

This will be an exciting night of music featuring Skillet, Tauren Wells, KB, Colton Dixon, I Am They, Newsong, and more! Handout Volunteers will help distribute packets to the audience during a Compassion presentation that is given from the stage. You will receive information after signup that will include videos on the Handout Volunteer role, and a link to a waiver that must be signed prior to getting to the event. There will be onsite training when you arrive at the event.

We welcome family groups, but all volunteers must be at least 10 years old.

Compassion volunteers will adhere to state, local or venue requirements if masks are required for the event. We will do our best to inform you ahead of time, but due to mandates constantly changing and varying across all levels, we may not know in time and therefore encourage you to bring a mask just in case. We’ll also have some masks available for you to use if needed.

FAQs

1. Do I have to buy a ticket? No, as a part of volunteering with Compassion, you will get into the venue for free. There may be a cost for parking, though, which is not covered.

2. Will I be able to watch/listen to the bands? We make every effort to provide opportunities for volunteers to enjoy the show, but can't guarantee it.

3. What will I be doing? The Handout Volunteer role helps to distribute packets during the Compassion presentation time. You will be assigned a certain section of the venue and will wear a super cool blue Compassion vest that is filled with packets and pens. You will distribute these packets to people who raise their hands signifying they want to help change the life of a child living in poverty. You may also be collecting the forms when they have been completed.

4. Will I be trained on what to do? Absolutely! We have wonderful onsite facilitators who will walk you through exactly what you are going to be doing. This training will take place at the beginning of your volunteer shift.

5. Will I receive more information once I have signed up? Yes! We want all our volunteers to feel well informed and prepared, so will be sending you reminder emails and event details 5-7 days before the event. All communications will come via the email address you provide to us (the one that is on your Volunteer Match account). If you haven't heard from us after signing up, you can email volunteer@compassion.com with the city you are wanting to volunteer in and we will get back to you within 48 business hours.
