Volunteer Transportation Center

Oswego County needs volunteer drivers! Make a difference in a neighbor's life by helping them get to work, school, grocery stores, routine medical appointments, and more!

By becoming a volunteer driver, you can gain a sense of satisfaction, provide a neighbor with a sense of independence, and travel throughout Oswego County.

Our volunteer drivers use their own vehicles, set their own hours, and receive up to $0.56 per mile driven in non-taxable reimbursement. Mileage reimbursement begins when you first get into your vehicle.

You will receive a detailed orientation and a tablet for mileage tracking. Do you have a few hours to spare to help a neighbor?

Contact Heather at 315-565-0164 or heather@volunteertransportation.org to get started!

*This does not affect any benefits you may already be receiving such as SNAP, HEAP or Social Security.
