Here at St James, our food pantry clients consistently tell us that the foods they need the most help accessing are fresh fruits and vegetables. Our Mobile Pantry is one way we respond to this need by distributing fresh and nutritious produce more than 200 households in the span of 2 hours. Come ready for a fun and fast-paced morning!
We ask volunteers to sign in at the food pantry at 8am. Distribution runs from 9 to 11am across the street in the parking lot of the church. Clean up is normally finished by 12pm. The pantry is located at 2907 S Wabash Ave. on the SE corner of Wabash and 29th St.
Please note that this is an outdoor event. Keep yourself safe and comfortable by coming prepared with your warm winter gear! Volunteers, staff, and clients are required to wear masks at the distribution site and in all indoor spaces.
