MISSION:

Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin exists to end hunger in southwestern Wisconsin

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Assist Operations and Volunteer Services staff on a consistent and ongoing basis to provide basic building maintenance and repairs in a warehouse and office setting.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

The Building Maintenance Support volunteer will provide standard maintenance support such as:

  • Replacing lightbulbs
  • Changing Air Filters
  • Hanging items such as photos, bulletin boards, and plaques
  • Basic repairs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Friendly, patient, with an eye for detail
  • Demonstrated maintenance experience
  • Some experience with hand tools and specialty tools: hammer, drill gun, handsaw

1 Shift

  • afternoon / 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM
    Shift times are flexible - let us work with your schedule!
