If you love to visit with people and brighten their day, this is the opportunity for you! Listening to stories, reading to patients, playing domino's or just engaging in some good old-fashioned conversations are all things a volunteer can do in a visit. Along with the Norman area, we also have patients in MOORE, MIDWEST CITY and SOUTH OKC who would also benefit from a volunteer visit.

Description
We offer Home Health and Hospice services all over the nation. I am the Volunteer Coordinator for the Norman, Moore and South OKC metro area. I am looking for compassionate people willing to give of their time. Our hospice patients love when a volunteer can come visit with them. Our caregivers/family members sometimes need to do errands or have time by themselves. Our volunteers are ready and willing to be with our patients during this time. We have other kinds of opportunities as well, such as a Pet Therapy program! - It's up to the volunteer's schedule. A person could serve and hour or 2 a month, 4 hours a month, or more! It's totally up to the volunteer!
- Orientation, yearly TB test and background check, valid Drivers License and car insurance, fingerprinting (Traditions will pay for background and TB testing)
