Do you have YouTube channel management/design skills and believe in doing good? Then let’s TALK!
The Do Good Bus, a nonprofit organization aimed at improving mental well-being through personal connection and purpose, is seeking a YouTube expert volunteer.
To compliment our live/in-person Do Good Bus TALKS events, we are looking to develop a robust platform to virtually share all the conversations with streaming and archiving opportunities. We would love for our YouTube page to reflect our activities in a clear and engaging way.
In order to do this, we foresee a YouTube Expert Volunteer completing the following tasks:
- Organizing the channel into playlists & sections based on the type of event and the topic of discussion
- Metadata recommendations
- Creating a digital template that can be easily edited and used for each recording of the events
- Creating an interesting static background or carousel of photos to use for the visual of the events. (As of now, we plan on only recording the audio of each event).
- Guiding the Do Good Bus Team into understanding how to put all the elements together so that the final recording is "turn key" and can be easily handed off to someone to upload to our Youtube channel.

Description
The Do Good Bus started in 2011 when the founder, Rebecca Reeder, celebrated her birthday by gathering a van full of friends and building a gorilla garden in Los Angeles. A few years later, she bought the iconic 1970 Crown Bus. Our eyes are on the road ahead, but as we glance back, we are grateful for our impact on the hundreds of rides since 2011. Our commitment to doing good is as strong as our commitment to creating relationships.
