By volunteering at Unlocking Futures, you become the key to open the door for successful High School experience.
For 30 years, Unlocking Futures mission has been to break the generational cycles of poverty through ensuring the educational success of all students. Our leaders present an evidence based curriculum which proves that HS students who are mentored succeed at a higher rate than un-mentored youth.
- Support youth in creating positive values
- Show them new experiences
- Assist them in completing personal goals.

Time Commitment
In a typical month, there are four opportunities for you to engage with your young person, about 7 hours a month.

Description
Unlocking Futures, formally known as Youth at Risk is a not-for-profit, volunteer driven organization committed to transforming the chaotic lives of young people through persistent and compassionate mentoring. Since 1985, Unlocking futures has helped HS students make college an option: we take them from failing grades to passing grades; and/or passing grades to top grades. We give them tools to win in life such as a Goal-directed focus and Shift at-risk behaviors to responsible behaviors
