Purposes
As awareness of the VC funding gap has grown, initiatives designed specifically to invest in companies led by folks from underrepresented backgrounds (e.g., Women, Black, Latinx) have emerged. Our organization, FairFunders launched in 2017 as a response to helping underrepresented founders seek capital for their ventures.

About
This internship position represents an unusual and exciting opportunity to work in an all international remote team.
Work Schedule
This is a 20 hour per week internship that is expected to last approximately 6 months. Internships will start in December 2021. You may work a flexible schedule as long as you have a commitment to the hours.
This position will be 100% remote due to covid safety regulations.
Responsibilities
You will rebuild our website on a free resource such as Vista or wix and help with daily social media tasks.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with and providing information to management levels will be needed
- Experience with Responsive Design Techniques and CSS3
- Experience with free website solutions
- Experience with SharePoint, HTML5, Java, Spring, .Net, C#, or cloud technologies a plus
- Time management skills
- Ability to interact well in a team environment

Our Story
As female founders, some of us experienced firsthand the unique challenges of raising funding for our startups. In July 2017, we heard numerous stories of females experiencing harassment and discrimination, and we realized something needed to change. We came together from around the world with the shared desire to make raising funding more equitable.
