Donor Ambassador
in the Montgomery County Region.
Currently we need 18 volunteers for this position.
What is a Blood Donor Ambassador?
Donor Ambassadors help provide professional customer service in a medical setting and enhance the blood donor experience.
General responsibilities:
- Manage the reception process by ensuring each donor is greeted and assisted with initial intake.
- Manage the hospitality experience by offering refreshments to donors, thanking donors for their contribution, and notifying the staff immediately if a donor shows signs of feeling unwell.
Minimum requirements:
- One 4-6 hour shift per month for six months.
- Professional, clear and diplomatic communication skills.
- Comfortable approaching and greeting people.
- Basic computer skills are needed.

- The volunteer application process requires two aspects: a background check for your safety and that of the clients we all serve & compliance with the Covid 19 proof of vaccination. These aspects keep the Red Cross services at a high standard.
