With Covid19 still here, we know you want to volunteer but want to stay in your own home. WE are looking for Interested Volunteers to to take an hour or two out of there week to call our patients and simply check in on them. You can do this from the comfort of your own home. We can provide a script and sample questions so you wont have to worry about what to say. These calls can mean so much to the patients even a voicemail left can brighten their day.
If talking on the phone isn't your cup of tea, we have other at home volunteer activities you can do.
Volunteers will have to complete training, background check and TB test. I can do training and an interview online to still practice social distancing policies.

A hospice volunteer is a special part of the hospice team. If you have a desire to make a difference in the lives of the terminally ill or those who are grieving by giving of your time to assist a patient, family member, or our office staff, then you have the qualities we're looking for in our volunteers. Volunteering includes making scrap books, blankets, cards, treats, reading, writing, visiting, and much much more.
New hospice volunteers participate in free training that provides information regarding the hospice philosophy of care.
