To assist in expanding the availability of virtual health care tools, resources and technical assistance to staff and Veterans. Virtual Health Resource Centers have been established to foster adoption and use of virtual health products (mobile apps, My HealtheVet and telehealth) to improve access, quality and efficiency of care for the Veteran community. The VHRC Volunteer will provide assistance, education and information to Veterans and VA staff who are interested in using virtual care tools. Tampa is one of four Virtual Care Centers of Excellence (CoE) in VA Nationwide. This assignment will afford us additional assistance in maintaining our CoE standards to assist the greatest number of Veterans and staff possible.

James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital and Clinics (JAHVH) provides many services to the Veterans we serve throughout Polk, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. Through the generosity of our donors and volunteers we can supplement these services and increase the quality of care to America’s heroes.
