College students looking for volunteer/internship hours are welcome. A mix between administrative task, companionship and shadowing our field team car bring you a sense of the industry. Chaplin’s, Social workers, nurse aids and even sales and market students are encouraged, but anyone can benefit from time spent.
Each volunteer with Compassus is treated as a contingent worker. This means that there is an onboarding process: application which can be found at https://hospicecom.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/Volunteer interview phone or in person, background check, fingerprints and training. It may seem like a lot but it really is easy process and goes smooth. We are currently recruiting in every county of Connecticut.
