Mission Communications Lead Needed for MS Society Fundraising Committee

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: National MS Society

MSlogo

Bike MS is the fundraising cycling series of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and raises more money than any other cycling event for any other cause. To date, Bike MS cyclists, volunteers, and donors have raised more than $1.3 billion to stop MS in its tracks, restore what's been lost, and end MS forever.

We are growing our "Steering Committee" for the Austin portion of our annual Texas MS150 ride. This ride takes place every year at the beginning of May where 10,000+ riders and 3,000+ volunteers participate in support of those living with MS. Our volunteer-led committee starts meeting monthly in October to assist staff members with the planning of this fundraising event.

We are currently in need of a Mission Communications Lead for the committee. This individual will work closely with staff to send out mass communications to the designated leads on the committee to then forward to their team. Ideally, the Mission Communications Lead would be passionate about MS and want to play a key role in ensuring that information was sent out to Austin-area donors and riders.

Time Commitment: 30 min a week.

Goal: increase ridership and committee participation in the Austin-area.

For more information on the position, please reach out to andrew.davis2@nmss.org.
