This volunteer would be responsible for answering the occasional phone call and visitor questions, and operating the cash register for admission and gift shop purchases. We are looking for a reliable person with good people skills, as you will be the museum's ambassador to our visitors! If this sounds like you we would love to talk with you further about this opportunity!

Mission Statement

Make a Difference in Your Community!

Description

Make a Difference in Your Community!

CVAC is a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chemung County.

CVAC provides education and opportunities for people of all ages to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. CVAC volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, hospitals, food pantries, and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. Our staff members work with agencies and organizations to offer individuals maximum flexibility and choice.

With CVAC you can either enroll as a Cornell Cooperative Extension volunteer to work directly with our programs, or sign you up as an affiliated volunteer and work with any number of partner agencies. In both cases, we match your interests to those of agencies needing your skills and talents.
